From the Temptations in 1964 to BTS, from the Spice Girls to Blackpink, all the way to Huntr/x, the virtual band born from a Netflix animated film in 2024. At the top of everything, One Direction: six billion songs as a group, eleven as solo artists — the defining case of this volume and perhaps of the entire history of boy bands. But there's more: an analysis of the "solo streams" — the billion songs that former members produced as solo artists, often surpassing the numbers of the group itself — and a look at who's still missing: the notable absentees like Little Mix, the most credible candidates to enter the club in 2026, and the bands that could surprise in the years ahead. Boy/Girl Bands and the Billion Songs Solo Artists by Number of Billion Tracks In this speci c ranking, Harry Styles dominates absolutely: 7 billion tracks, totaling nearly 15 billion streams. He is the former boy band member with the most billion tracks in the history of the Billion Club, and the gap between him and second place is massive. Jungkook and Camila Cabello follow behind, tied with 4 billion tracks each, with total streams tracking between 4.5 and 5.8 billion. Jennie, Lisa, and Ros  (all three from Blackpink), DNCE with Joe Jonas (from the Jonas Brothers), Kelly Rowland (from Destiny's Child), and Liam Payne (from One Direction) all currently sit at 1 billion track each. But we'll see who among them keeps moving up the ranks! 50 

Track 7 - The Spin-Off of the Bands Spin-offs by Origin Band In the ranking of bands that have generated the most solo artists with "billion songs," the most staggering  gure belongs to One Direction: 13 billion tracks generated across 4 solo artists, for a combined total of over 24 billion streams. That is more than double any other band in this table. No group in the history of pop music has generated a pool of solo careers comparable to that of the  ve boys from X Factor 2010. Also notable are Fifth Harmony and BTS: both sit at 6 billion tracks, with total stream counts of 10.4 and 9.9 billion respectively. Two entirely di erent phenomena in terms of origin, geography, and style, yet they produce spin o  streams of almost identical size.
