From the Temptations in 1964 to BTS, from the Spice Girls to Blackpink, all the way to Huntr/x, the virtual band born from a Netflix animated film in 2024. At the top of everything, One Direction: six billion songs as a group, eleven as solo artists — the defining case of this volume and perhaps of the entire history of boy bands. But there's more: an analysis of the "solo streams" — the billion songs that former members produced as solo artists, often surpassing the numbers of the group itself — and a look at who's still missing: the notable absentees like Little Mix, the most credible candidates to enter the club in 2026, and the bands that could surprise in the years ahead. Because the Billion Club is not a closed archive. It's a story still being written.

Lineup Changes On December 18, 2016, Camila Cabello left the group to dedicate herself entirely to a solo career. Editorial Note Fifth Harmony serves as one of the most eloquent case studies in the entire Billion Club for understanding exactly what a girl group can yield. Camila Cabello and Normani graduated with a degree of artistic leverage that no talent show could have ever delivered on its own. Next Billion Track?
