The first exercises – without the cello and the bow

Some suggestions follow for exercises that teachers can organise and use earlier or later in the programme as they think fit, without changing the order excessively.
Children should always do 5 – 10 minute’s gym before the lesson starts.

Standing to attention

A greeting before the lesson starts.

Giving the password

The password is made up of musical words, especially about the cello, in four languages: Italian, English, French and German.
The lesson starts with the child giving the password and bowing. He must remember all the passwords, from the first to the last lesson.
