Nel corso degli ultimi anni gli ensemble di arpe sono diventati sempre più numerosi. La nuova collana Harp Ensemble Collection nasce con il duplice intento di ampliare il repertorio dell’organico cameristico per più arpe e di stimolare i compositori contemporanei alla creazione di un repertorio originale, attingendo dall’inesauribile tesoro della grande musica. Certe bellissime pagine rimangono tali anche in questa nuova forma: non rinunciamo, quindi, al piacere di poterle suonare!
Harp Ensemble Collection mira ad appassionare alla musica d’insieme e a formare gruppi di affiatati musicisti. Porta avanti l’orientamento didattico della collana We Play the Harp con la proposta di un repertorio di maggior impegno.
Ciascun brano contiene la partitura e le singole parti di ogni arpa. Le diteggiature, ove ritenute necessarie, sono indicate solo sulle parti, non in partitura. I pedali sono indicati, come da tradizione, con le lettere in uso nella terminologia inglese. -------------------------------------------------------------- The number of harp ensembles has increased greatly in the last few years. The new series Harp Ensemble Collection was inspired by the desire to expand the chamber repertoire available to groups of harps, hoping to stimulate contemporary composers to write original works. The collection also includes selections from the greatest compositions of music literature: some beautiful pages adapt perfectly to this new form, so let’s enjoy them!
Harp Ensemble Collection aims to stimulate the enthusiasm towards ensemble music and to encourage the formation of groups of tight-knit musicians; it also carries forward the didactic goals of the series We Play The Harp with the proposal of a more demanding repertoire.
Each piece is accompanied by the score and the individual parts for each harp. The fingerings, where necessary, are indicated just on the single parts, not on the score. The pedals are traditionally marked in letters according to English terminology.
